A Dinner of Words

A Dinner of Words

Suddenly I was eating my words.
My arrogant attitude solved nothing.
I need to retrace every step.

Actually this was amusing,
but not so as I was losing face.

Days went by slowly.
My embarrassment has faded.
I learned something new about myself.
Soon I will no longer be afraid of life.
