The Future Perfect

Yes, I see the distant future.
Civilization will have become barbaric.
Modern ways will be antiquated.

The possibilities seem real to me,
and I see that the good is very near today.
This knowledge makes me feel strong.

Actually, I am limited and frail.
I see potentials beyond my grasp.
The future I see seems firm and solid.
The past is faded and blurred.

My imagination sees many different events.
I also see my immediate needs.
I wish I saw those nears and fars at once.
