Words

I can draw a picture with merely 100 words.
The image you see is full of color.
I’ve learned that silence can paint as well.
Without words, I can come closer to the truth.

I remember when my heart was cold.
The fierce winds of life had no mercy.
I counted the days and faced a bleak future.
All of the warmth of love was lost.

Today I have beautiful words for my love.
My life alone had given me dark thoughts.
Now the sun fills my soul with light.

I have found someone to cherish and love.
We are miles apart but our spirits are close.
Silence is engraving a wonderful image.
