Flowers are a Gift

Yesterday’s flowers have faded.
Today I planted new seeds in my heart.
I see their beauty growing all around me.
A soft and warm fragrance is spreading.

I practice my daily routine.
I long for a cherished gift today.
I work toward love once more.
I have good hope for good fortune.

Soon, tomorrow will not be a stranger.
Words may fail me completely then.
I know that fate blows fickle winds.
Even still, I share His love today.
