A Vast Sky

“Come forth,” beckons a fair judge.
He is signaling safe passage to freedom.

“Forge onward,” calls the quiet friend.
Life is short and there is so far to go.

“Reach a better perspective” is the cry.
Soon all will be clear to you.

Reality is not the prison.
It is not the first steps.
It is not a point of view.
Rather it is a vast sky
full of clouds of great beauty.
