A Spider Named Joey

The little spider Joey
began to feel his oats.
The day was young.
In the book of life,
each page was fresh.

As Joey came home,
He saw a fleeting wisp.
The waves of light
felt warm in his tiny mind.

Then Joey was full of fright.
The day began to change.
His wisp was a wasp.
Now it was time to walk away.
The way back was hard.

  1. Nice play on words. Wisp. Wasp. Poor Joey. I enjoyed reading this a lot. :)
