I see the light rise above the horizon.
Its power amplifies the beauty around me.
I look away for a moment and smile.

The glowing sky reflects my heart.
I begin to laugh for I feel free.
The people around me are not watching.
I do not fear their criticism.

I fill the air with silly words.
I say nonsense to release my sadness.
Soon I will take a day to share with you.
I am happy that you are a friend.

The light has created new life.
I look around to see the water.
It is calm and I relax in peace.
