Words of Light

The sacred words began to flow over my spirit.
Silently they opened my mind to the light.
Now that they have revealed their power,
I cannot thwart their progress.

Yesterday I didn’t know how easy it was.
Now I can always choose to be loving.
Nothing prepared me for these changes.
My discoveries astound me today.

I remember the lessons that were taught long ago.
One by one, they have filled my soul with wisdom.
Their quiet cleansing gave me freedom.
Now my problems have faded away.
