Sleep

24. The Girl Who Used to Sleep Under the Tables
Is sleep a valuable commodity?
Can it be bought and sold?
Is it worth the time it takes?

I know a doctor works long hours.
When awake, the patients benefit.
The diligent physician can save a life.

Everyone can be strong now.
I value sleep over a pet project.
Some prefer to care for an orchid instead.

I cannot trade sleep in the market.
When I am short of funds,
I am living on borrowed time.
My private bank must not collapse.
