Where do the autumn winds blow?
I love the trees as they dance in the breeze.
With the fading colors come thoughts of death.
The fluttering leaves remind me of my mortality.
Today my colors are orange, yellow and brown.
Bold greens have changed to these earthy shades.
I will be waiting for tomorrow when I rest.
As today becomes yesterday, I will sleep.
Autumn is a beautiful season.
Some changes are subtle.
The blue sky seems further away today.
I watch the wind gust around me.
The life I follow is slowly fading.
My memories are dropping away.
I am pulling away from humanity.
I hope to see the spring again.
