The Shout of Hope

A lonely beast shouted with force.
Strong words flowed from its mouth.
The leaves of the trees trembled.
The sounds were beautiful and warm.

The forest became quiet briefly.
A resounding echo shook the leaves again.
The spirits of the forest were strengthened.

The words said: “Take pride in your life.
Only you know who you are.
You know who you once were.
You can show us who you will become.”

I stay hopeful because I seek the truth.
