Wobbly Spheres

solar_system
The spinning world began to sway.
It offended the moon, which wobbled slowly.
The moon tried to spit out words of anger.

The two quarreled for an hour.
I remember the squabble well.
Life’s responsibilities were the main contention.

Most felt no worry over a wobbly world.
The clouds float and bring forth rain.
Why would there be any anxiety?

The spheres of heaven are steady again.
Moon and earth have made their peace.
The sun shines and smiles on all.
