Golden Light

The light is golden.

As the storm passed,
I admired the lightning.

Red lights flash on the towers.
I’ll be getting home soon.
I know that night is coming.

I heard a shout behind me.
A friend ran to my side.
I saw her flowing hair.
I laughed and she took my hand.
