Words of Anger

This all began innocently enough.
We had a few words of anger.
Our friends watched us rant and fight.
I was sad for my failure of character.
Now I am sadder still.

Each round of the bout
was more and more distressing.
Before, I had been a calm soul.
I was not prepared for my collapse.

Planning for the future
and working on a solution
was not easy.

I love you
yet I am enraged.

Love can be lost or it can be destroyed.
