Rushing Wind

2014-06-07-Rushing-Wind
The wind rushed around me.
It washed over the branches carelessly.
I’m not happy about the weather,
but I’m not sure what I want from it.

I often walk through the woods.
Its calm essence enriches my day.
I visit the park regularly now.
I follow its familiar paths.

As I notice the rain falling,
the wind begins to subside.
I understand this a little bit.
The breeze guides the rain down.

The words I keep in my journal
are a reflection of my positive spirit.
I grow in response to the wind and rain.
My heart grows stronger in the sunshine.
