To the waiting children,
will you allow the world surround you?
Each question you ask opens a new door.
Each time you walk, you reach a goal.

I know you will have a love of justice.
The family of man knows you are true.
As you speak of life, hope will spread.
I know that every day brings new wonders.

To the waiting children,
begin the day with a prayer.
for hope and love,
for a way to help.
As the words begin to flow,
I feel happy to know you.
I am glad that you opened my eyes again.
