The book was written long ago,
Its story is happening today.
The set is carefully arranged.
The players speak their lines.
The first act is coming to a close.
Then surprising events happen on the stage.
The careful plans have been upset.
In time, the director will write a new script.
Now I realize that a book can always be revised.
