In the Rain

espejismo / Mirage
The rain washed the sidewalks today.
I was surprised by the downpour.

I know how to prevent problems in my life.
I can see the consequences of my actions.
I hear the words behind my deeds.
They have been cleansed by the rain’s soft patter.

This afternoon, a storm left me.
The calm sky is pleasant again.
My heart has found a reason to grow.

My mind is full of light again.
