A Thick Fog

I just released a new collection on kindle. “Journey Through a Garden
Lake Sammamish, WA
The autumn sun rose early today.
A thick fog blankets the fields.
I wake seeing the mists around me.
I see a chill envelop the land.

A heron flies low above my home.
Our spacious lake has fish enough.
Finally, the sky is full of birds again.

I have seen pure beauty as the fog fades.
My camera is not enough to show you.

As the sun sets, the birds will come home again.
