Did I ever plan for this gift?
Did I ever anticipate joy and fulfillment?
I have been learning more every year.
Now, I have a wide spiritual range of motion.

I have been changing slowly.
I wonder what the future will hold.
Before, I did not know and was fearful.

Sometimes I can see the entire horizon.
Why have I never walked toward it?

The core of my life is changing today.
