Clouds Approached

A rainbow stretching across the sky

Until the rain stops falling,
I will not go outside.

As the clouds approached,
I watched them spread.
They blocked the sun
and I only saw gray skies.

I remember sunny days.
I remember the brilliant blue.
I know that a rainbow is near.

The sun will return again.
