Love in the Sun

day one hundred and three. hold me tight, don't let me go...
I have come through my life alone.
I only remember years of pain.
I hope for peace in my heart.

I know none of your friends.
We are far apart—far from love.
Each word I speak reveals my suffering.

I am growing stronger now.
I look for hope and a simple answer.
I search for a path to my goal.

Clouds are fading away.
The sun fills my life with freedom.
Her shining glow heals my spirit.
I am leaving my solitude behind.
