Your Joy

My morning process is a constant.
The dreams have faded from my mind.
I see the lighting and hear the rain.
Will the storm have a parting rainbow?

My duties are still ahead of me.
I wait to see the sunny afternoon.

Every time I see your face,
I remember the smiles we shared.
Today I will remember our joy again.

Your portrait is not enough anymore.
