My Guidance

Rhizoming the Vanishing Lines
I suspect now that my memory of yesterday
is a poor predictor of my future.
I am learning that each day stands alone.
I fail when I project what tomorrow will bring.

I knew I would be sleepy today.
I hope that I can work hard—
My busy mind stays free of the negative.

I have traveled a long road.
I don’t need to reach the goal anymore.
It can come nearer in its own time.

Now I can move forth with my day.
I shall pray for guidance and grace.
I must let God light the pathway.
