Beneath the shadow of the storm,
I remain fearless and strong.
The lightning is furious.
The sun has fled into the night.
Every day I look to the sky.
I see the starlight from long ago.
I search the sky’s expanse for hope.
My home is nestled by the river.
A forest wilderness is close.
The heavens pass over me when I sleep.
